Project Requirements

1. Upgrade to Magento 2.4.4 P1

The First Requirement for the Sitcon Project Was to Upgrade the Existing Magento 1 Website to the Latest Version of Magento 2, Specifically Magento 2.4.4 P1. This Upgrade Was Necessary to Ensure That the Website is Secure and Compatible With the Latest Technologies. The Upgrade Process Required Creating a Staging Environment, Installing a Fresh Copy of Magento 2.4.4 P1, Migrating Data From the Magento 1 Website to the New Environment, and Updating All Extensions and Themes to Their Latest Versions.

2. Custom Theme Development

The Sitcon Magento Website Needed a Fresh and Unique Look to Stand Out From Competitors. Our Solution Was to Develop a Custom Theme That Reflects the Brand’s Values and Appeals to Its Target Audience. The Theme Was Designed to Be User-friendly, Responsive, and Optimized for Search Engines.

3. Multiple Websites & Domain Set Up

Sitcon Required Multiple Websites and Domains to Cater to Different Regions and Product Lines. Our Solution Was to Create a Single Magento Installation With Multiple Websites, Each With Its Own Domain, Design, and Product Catalogue. 4. Listing Page Filter Customization

Sitcon’s Product Catalogue Was Vast, Making It Challenging for Customers to Find What They Needed Quickly. Our Solution Was to Customize the Listing Page Filters to Allow Customers to Sort and Filter Products by Category, Brand, Price, and More. We Also Added Product Labels Such as Easy, Light, and Plus, to Help Customers Find Products That Fit Their Needs.

5. Dynamic Time For Same Day Shipping

To Increase Customer Satisfaction and Drive Sales, Sitcom Asked Us to Implement a Dynamic Shipping Timer Feature. This Tool Displays the Cut-off Time for an Order Which is Contingent on Product Availability and Regional Location. It’s Designed to Decrease Customer Frustration While Ensuring More Successful Transactions by Providing Accurate Information Regarding Same-day Shipping Access.

6. Dynamic Blog Display

The Importance of Good Content Management Can Not Be Understated. The Client’s Blog Was an Essential Source of Information for Customers, However, It Was Static and the Latest Posts Were Getting Lost in the Shadow of Popular Ones. To Counter This Issue Our Experts Created a Dynamic Blog Display That Can Automatically Update With the Latest Posts, Alternatively, It Also Showcases Related Posts on the Product/category Page. The Display Also Allows Customers to Search for Posts by Keyword, Category, or Tag, Making It Easier to Find the Information They Need.

7. Contact Forms

Sitcon Needed a Simple and Effective Way for Customers to Contact Them With Questions or Concerns. Our Solution Was to Create Customized Contact Forms That Capture the Necessary Information and Route It to the Appropriate Department. The Forms Also Include a CAPTCHA to Prevent Spam and Ensure Data Security.

8. 3D 360 Degree Store Display

Sitcon Wanted to Showcase Its Physical Store in a Unique and Immersive Way. Our Solution Was to Create a 3D 360-degree Store Display That Allows Customers to Explore the Store Virtually. The Display Includes Interactive Hotspots That Provide Information About Products and Promotions.

Sitcon’s Products Were Highly Technical and Required Detailed Information. Our Solution Was to Customize the Product Pages to Include a Product Specialist Section That Provides Detailed Information About the Product’s Features, Benefits, and Applications. We Also Added the Ability to Customize Bundle Product Quantity and Real-time Store-wise Inventory Updates. Related Product Suggestions Were Added to Increase Upsell Opportunities.

Sitcon Wanted to Encourage Customers to Purchase Additional Products. Our Solution Was to Create an Add to Cart Pop-up That Suggests Related Products Based on the Customer’s Selection. This Feature Increases the Likelihood of a Sale and Improves the Customer Experience.

11. 5-Step Customized Checkout

Sitcon’s Checkout Process Was Lengthy and Confusing, Leading to Cart Abandonment. Our Solution Was to Customize the Checkout Process Into Five Easy-to-follow Steps That Guide Customers Through the Process. We Also Added Customization Options for Shipping and Payment Methods, Making It More Convenient for Customers.

12. Advanced Search with Filters

Sitcon’s Customers Needed a Quick and Efficient Way to Find Products on the Website. Our Solution Was to Add Advanced Search Functionality With Filters That Allow Customers to Search by Keyword, Category, Brand, Price Range, and More. This Feature Improves the Customer Experience and Increases the Chances of a Sale.

Our Solution
